Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about digital welcome and notice boards.
What is a digital welcome board?
A digital welcome board is an online notice board for your venue or community. Guests scan a QR code and instantly see local events, weather, walks, hotspots and your recommendations — no app to download. It replaces the printed welcome folder that goes out of date the moment it is printed.
Do guests need to download an app?
No. Guests simply scan your QR code with their phone camera and the board opens straight away in their web browser. Nothing to install, and it works on any modern phone, tablet or computer.
Can I brand the board with my own logo and colours?
Yes. On the Visitor plans your board carries your own logo and brand colours, so guests see your venue — not us. Your QR poster is branded to match, ready to print for a welcome pack or to display on the wall.
Is it suitable for holiday lets, campsites, B&Bs and pubs?
Absolutely — that is exactly who the Visitor Edition is built for. It gives your guests local walks, what’s-on events, weather and the places you would personally recommend, all in one branded board.
What can I put on the board?
Community messages, local events, information pages, an interactive hotspots map, a live weather widget, and recommended local businesses. Regional content such as nearby walks is shared across boards, so useful content appears with no extra effort.
Can I update the board after guests have arrived?
Yes. Everything updates in real time from your dashboard, and weather and events refresh automatically. Change a recommendation or add an event and it appears instantly for anyone viewing the board.
How much does it cost?
The Community Edition is free to get started. Visitor boards for holiday lets and small venues start at £19 per month, with Pro and multi-property options for campsites, larger lets and letting agencies. See the pricing page for full details.
How long does it take to set up?
Minutes. Add your logo, colours and a few local spots, print your QR poster, and you are live — most venues are up and running the same afternoon, with no technical skills required.
Can I manage several properties from one place?
Yes. Letting agencies and owners with multiple properties can manage a whole portfolio of branded boards from a single dashboard. Get in touch for portfolio and white-label pricing.
